And we’re back. This week on the podcast, Joe and Erik catch up on what they’ve been watching for the last few weeks while the show was on hiatus. In particular, Joe spills on a film he’s been able to see early now that he resides in Los Angeles called Cheap Thrills. Then it’s on to a full review of Steve McQueen‘s 12 Years a Slave.

  1. Nice podcast, fellas. I saw 12 Years a Slave at Cinema 21 this weekend and it was incredible…really stuck with me for a couple of days. The cameos didn’t really bother me and glad you discussed the scene where Solomon is left to hang. I really liked the quietness of the film or the space that you’re given to let moments sink in.
